Several days ago, the speech therapist at Nathan’s school told me they were talking about Valentine’s Day and, by extension, love. She went around the room, asking each child who they love – the answers varied widely. When she asked Nathan who he loved, he responded: God.
Have you seen Rambo Day yet? Two warnings: it’s 22 minutes long (but so worth it!) and there’s some salty language. BUT… I love it so much. It’s men – smart, strong, and funny men! – doing something really awesome for their friend.
Nathan went to the dentist! No spoilers – come back on Tuesday for a full post – but I will give you a little sneak preview video involving Mr. Thirsty. Thank you all so much for your help – I took all of your comments into account when we decided what to do.
Reader Annie shared a great story in the comments of yesterday’s blog post. It involves 400 kids eating their lunch in the dark and not thinking anything of it. Go read it.
We’re going to an Auburn softball game! Later this spring we’re taking the kids to see the Auburn women play a home series. It’ll be interesting to see if she enjoys it as much in person as she enjoyed watching the College World Series the past two years. I’m going to have to insist, however, that she doesn’t wear this shirt.
Want another Nathan video? Of course you do! If you didn’t see it already on Instagram, here’s Nathan in the five minutes-ish before the doors to preschool opened. His teacher is awesome. She has to be. 🙂
