Sun-Beams is a collection of links to stories, articles, photos, or videos I have come across that I believe will inspire, inform, or encourage you, as well as my favorite photo posted on my other blog, Violet Film, from the past week.
Members Offer Rare Display of Emotion With ABLE Act – You’ve probably already heard the news, but I liked this article because it gave me (a little…) renewed faith in our elected leaders.
Fist-bump kid Liam Fitzgerald beloved by Boston Bruins, sports world – This story simply made me smile. Some people have star quality.
Tailoring a Play for the Acutely Attuned – Autism-friendly stage performance … on Broadway!
Growing up with Tourette syndrome and my love of football – I always love a great story about how someone’s disability in childhood led them to the adult they become (whether they’re famous or not!)
When a Little Girl With Down Syndrome Showed What’s ‘Possible’ – A great new piece by one of my fave bloggers, Amy Julia Becker.
Photo of the Week:
Anti-itch compresses on both legs and one arm; using the other arm’s elbow to scratch the thigh. That’s been the M.O. this weekend.

Andi,
I LOVE the new redesign, but on my work computer, the snippets are hard to read. The font color for the links is a bit too light. Maybe if the links were bolded it would help? I love the color scheme and don’t want you to change just for me, but I wondered if I might not be the only person having issues.

I’m glad you like it and THANK YOU for letting me know. I have a few things on my “unsure list” and that was one – you confirmed I need to keep tweaking!

I’ve tweaked the colors a little bit. Let me know if it was helpful!
