Did you notice that I didn’t post any Sun-Beams over the weekend? That’s because I was “off the grid” and it was GLORIOUS! I attended a retreat in the middle N-O-W-H-E-R-E and I didn’t have enough of a signal to take or make a phone call or text. An internet connection? No chance. I decided not to worry about it and post the Sun-Beams today instead.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with my Tuesday post on Wednesday – today is Sarah Kate’s first day of rehab, so I hope to have lots to say about that.
In the meantime, here are a few stories I’ve come across this week that I believe will inspire, inform, or encourage you:
Food Truck Serves Up Jobs For Those With Special Needs – Anyone that’s worked with me knows that I believe that everyone can contribute, they just need to be in the right seat on the bus (or, in this case, truck!)
Living with cerebral palsy drives ‘Breaking Bad’ star’s charity work and Charlotte visit – I heart R.J.!
Albert Pujols and the End to Down Syndrome Bullying – Always a fan of Pujols, more off the field than on.
Autism is growing up – Interesting perspective on what many people still consider a children’s condition.
