Another movie is being filmed in Mayberry – starring Jon Lovitz, Kevin Sorbo, and Laura Vandervoort. I guess I’m too old to know who Laura Vandervoort is, but Jon Lovitz and Kevin Sorbo I know. 🙂 Mr. Andi got called down to the pier earlier this week to assist them with lighting and other logistics. He said the name of the movie is “Coffee Shop” but it’s not on IMDB yet so I don’t know much else. He got a crew jacket and some koozies out of the “Somnia” deal, but nothing on this one – DANGIT! Momma’s all about some movie swag.
I signed Nathan up for TOTS soccer this week. It’s $40 for six sessions. I know very little about soccer, and he knows even less, but he likes balls and he likes to run, so…
We don’t have a date yet for the gait analysis at Gillette in Minneapolis. After talking to Sarah Kate’s local physical therapist, I’m not completely sure that it’s needed. I’m already starting to have trouble with knowing what I can and can’t plan to do or not do this spring and summer. Limbo honks.
The fifth grade reading book for this week at Sarah Kate’s school was Stretching Ourselves: Kids with Cerebral Palsy. Sarah Kate was invited to speak about CP to two classes, which she seemed to enjoy, and the kids asked a lot of good questions.
I forgot to mention that the kids’ page is up on the “Child of Children’s” campaign website for Children’s Hospital of Alabama. You can find it here.
My 365 project has completely gone off the rails for 2014, which is probably contributing to my frozen feeling. I’m tired of taking photos inside my house, which has felt SO dark and blah this winter because of all the cloudy days.
Speaking of cloudy days and that frozen feeling, I was thinking about that yesterday and I realized that this year is the first in quite a while that I haven’t run a lot of long runs outside on Saturdays. I opted not to train for a marathon this year, only back-to-back half marathons, and I did a lot of those long runs on the treadmill so as to squeeze them in during the week. As a result, I haven’t had as much sunlight shining on me this winter as I have in previous winters. Wonder if that could be part of my problem, as well?
Have a great weekend!

#6/7 sound like you might have a touch of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? Hope it gets warmer and sunnier for us all soon. This constant crazy cold is bad for the soul!

Laura Vandervoort has done most Canadian stuff, I think. I used to watch a show she was on.
