Today’s post is a short one – I have a few quick items to share with you all:
Have you entered my Uprinting letterhead giveaway yet?
If not, there’s still time! If not, what are you waiting for? Know anyone who’d like to win a free set of personalized letterhead? Then send them this way! Note: This giveaway ended on September 7, 2011.
Had you noticed that my menu has changed?
I’ve moved some things around, such as placing links to resources in the footer and adding a list of favorite blogs. My cerebral palsy blogroll is a little slim, so if you have recommendations, let me know! I’ve also added a FAQ for those questions that I tend to hear on a regular basis. The most burning question, of course…Why doesn’t Mr. Andi have a page?
Did you see my guest post on DIStherapy yesterday?
Donna of DIStherapy and Beth of Pursuing the Magic have sponsored a series called “40 Days to 40 Years” to celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the opening of Walt Disney World. My post begins:
1979.
Gloria Gaynor sang “I Will Survive,” the Sony Walkman was released in Japan (cost: $200!), “The Muppet Movie” hit the big screen, and my family headed to Tallahassee, Florida for my stepbrother-in-law’s college graduation. Of course, I was more interested in an ear hat than a mortarboard, because after the commencement festivities ended, we were driving to Walt Disney World!
I’ll be back tomorrow with a new post – a REAL one this time, not a brief! – but until then, enjoy my 1975-era haircut and crop top. And my friend Chip’s black knee socks with tennis shoes. I’m definitely tagging him on Facebook…
